The Forest Rotary Park - An All-Inclusive Playground!

A New Playground Is In The Forest Community!

The Rotary Club of Forest is gifting an all-inclusive playground to Bedford County, VA located behind the Forest branch of the Bedford County Public Library on Rt 221.

This multi-phase project will be installed in phases over the next several years. The plan is to include ADA compliant equipment and educational activities so that children of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds can play and learn together. The Forest Club is funding much of this multi-year project from the proceeds of the Annual Field of Honor Event held each September on the grounds of Automated Conveyor Systems on Graves Mill Road.

Phase I (completed September, 2022) — Land preparation, installation of main Slide/Climb Module

Phase 1A (date TBD) — Musical and Sensory pieces

Future Phases (dates TBD) — Swings, Spinners, Tactical and Educational Components
